Once more, Focals engineers have pushed the limits of the feasible to maintain the outstanding reputation of this extraordinary line-a series synonymous with power and precision.
The new K2 Power Systems are inspired by one of the best technologies in the Hi-Fi world, which Focal first used in the recently introduced SOPRA home speaker series: an innovation in these speakers is the patented TMD suspension (Tuned Mass Damping) - a revolutionary technology that is unwanted Resonance reduced and a clean, neutral centre reproduction with very low distortion factor.
The second important, also patented innovation of the new made in France K2 Power line is the M-shaped inverted Kevlar tweeter.
This exclusive tweeter has been specially designed for extreme precision in the top frequency ranges.
The combination with the "push-pull" drive with IAL technology extends the lower area of the frequency response and ensures an exceptionally harmonious balance.
The use of numerous new technologies has pushed the limits of what is possible further than one can imagine.
Above all, this applies to the two new subwoofers of the K2 Power series, which reach very high SPL values even in compact housing.
